Just Married!
A quick blog post today to share some big news! In the last few weeks, I got married and have a new last name. This is my first blog post under my new name! Anyone who has changed their name I am sure is familiar with the excitement of seeing the new name as well as the adjustment.
For this time, I was prepared and fortunate enough to be able to lean on my team and take the time fully off work. As much as we love our jobs and the work we do, it is also important to be fully present for those important moments in life.
Additionally, taking time to step away from the business gave me a good perspective to look at the big picture again. How often do we get caught up in the day-to-day and forget about the big picture? Taking time off to recharge, reflect, and realign is huge! This week as I get back into work I will be taking this perspective and sorting out the big goals and daily actions towards those goals. When is the last time you did that in your job, your life?
