Everyone wants to be productive, right!? However, when you work from home sometimes it can be hard to make sure we are being productive with our time. But, there are some simple things you can do to make sure that you set yourself up for a productive day. Check out this list and start your day like this if you want to be productive!
Get Up Early
Getting up early isn’t feasible for everyone, but if at all possible, get up early so that you can have some down time and get your day started off on the right foot.
It helps if you set your alarm for about an hour or two before everyone else wakes up, especially if you have children! This assures that you can have some peace and quiet before you have to go into parent mode.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast
Starting your day with a healthy, nutritious breakfast is a great way to set yourself up for a productive day! A good breakfast will give you energy and help you be less likely to indulge throughout the day.
Work Out
Working out in the morning will help you to clear your mind and get your body pumped and ready for the day! Now, the workout can be whatever you are comfortable doing.
- Go for a jog
- Go to the Gym
- Do Yoga
- Dance
- Work out at home
- Take a nice morning stroll
Do one of these exercises for 20-45 mins every morning to keep you productive and healthy!
Have a Plan
The best way to be productive is to have a plan for what you’re going to do that day…and actually stick to the plan!
Use an online management tool like Trello or if you are a pen and paper type of person, you can get a daily planner or bullet journal to schedule out your day. Better yet, schedule out your week or even entire month!
On the Table…
Being productive takes some planning and action on your part. So go ahead and plan for your day, eat a healthy breakfast, exercise your mind and body, and you will be on your way to a very productive day!
